Ok,, the next family member I will be nursing back to health is our daughter Sarah.

On May 31st she is going to have a 5 hour surgery with a 3-5 day stay in the ICU. She is both very excited & extremely nervous about this. And her kids will be moving in with us, while daddy bounces back & forth from hospital-home & work for Sarah.

Many of you know our daughter. And starting in the 1st grade she has had many surgeries for her thyroid. Plus she has battled with "Graves disease". Well anyways this has left her with a huge scar on her neck. And over the last few years it has started to pull the tissue down from chin & is causing some issues with movement.

So, after consulting with a couple of Dr's. On May 31st she is going in to have the scar on her neck removed and an oval shaped graft of skin put in it's place. The skin will be taken from her belly. The surgery takes 5 hours as the Surgeon connects all the tiny blood vessels. After that she will be in ICU for observation from 3-5 days depending on how she is doing.

Since she lives in Milwaukee, and we all live here. She is going to stay with us once she is out, with her hubby bouncing back & forth from their place to ours. We have it all worked out that no one will need to miss out on work while she is healing.

I'm so excited for her. She has had many difficulties with this. And has lived with a huge scar on her neck since she was a little girl.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but the event down here in Texas has kept me hopping... What a great job the Texas Prowlers have done in not only show casing their state but making it fun... They sure know how to make a Prowler owner feel good no mater what happened to his car on the way down... First time for me to see the Alamo and what a treat it was to shoot a few Prowlers there as the sun was setting... Thanks Guys and Girls... onecatnodog and Suzy Q
