Well, I've tried every configuration of the plate I wanted from the California DMV . . .And all have been rejected because the meaning of my plate selection could be "offensive or in poor taste" to some people.
Well, Yeah! Why else get one? (JK)
So, today, in a final act of defiance, the DMV website allowed me to submit one more variation of the plate that may or may not get by the censors.
To date, the bastards have rejected CAT SASS, KAT SASS, and most recently KAT SAZZ.
Well, they just can't kill me! Now, I've moved onto the "Kids" specialty license plate that allows you to include either a heart symbol, a plus sign, a hand outline, or a star as one of the characters on the plate.
So, my new plate may (Or much more likely, probably not) read: C*T SASS, with a star symbol taking the place of the "A" in CAT. Since the submission form does not show the star on it, the dreaded censors will read the plate as C T SASS. Hopefully, they will just let this version go through. We'll see. I let you know what happens either way.
If not, maybe onto PORN *, or Old F (heart symbol) . . . Uh, on second thought, maybe not.
Hey DC, How did Jenn get "SKANK" through? Sass and Skank are not that far apart. LOL!
