After owning my 86 GLHS for 10 years I sold it and it is on its way to Ohio. Thought I would never sell, but things change. I was with the 1st owner when he bought it in 86 and the car has never left our small town.

I'm willing to bet that that car in that state wouldve fetched a pretty penny in 15 years.

It was a dodge omni turbo that Shelby modified. He bought the last 500 black glh turbos and modified them...koni shocks, intercooler, rims and some other items. All the numbered cars had a dash palque signed by shelby with the car number on them. I had the glove compartment signed by shelby a few years ago. Evan though it was a dodge omni...it did run a 14.7 in the 1/4....if I am not mistaken that is faster than most older muscle cars! Yes, I do know it was still an omni...but it was fun crusing with it in Madison when it was new a beating up on muscle cars!

My daughter's first car in the early 90's was a very used Plymouth Horizon which was the same vehicle as the Omni but hers never looked that good. :tu:
