2008 turkey run daytona beach

Eventhough we "left the state" we're only a couple of additional hours from when we lived there to one of our favorite events we've attended for almost 20 years which is "The Turkey Run" held each year at Thanksgiving in Daytona Beach FL. This year will be the 35th annual event.

Please register asap online at: www.turkeyrun.com (http://www.turkeyrun.com) I checked last evening and there were only 2 Prowlers registered thus far.

Dave Farrand "REALITY" secured the great rates for us this year at the Courtyard Marriott located adjacent to the Speedway in Daytona. You can locate the hotel info in the General Discussion forum titled 2008 DAYTONA TURKEY RUN - Hotel Info

FYI:
While I started a thread for this event, I/we are in no way in charge nor want to be but merely wanted to advertise this event since it's only 2 months away and many folks are unaware of where to find info/where to register/hotel info etc. etc.

My apologies that I obviously offended those who think they are in charge of posting any & all events. I have done this many times and will continue to do so when I hear of something that may be of interest to the Prowler community regardless of where they are located or where I may reside.

We certainly haven't seen anyone post admonishing you for posting this event. We all would hope that you follow through with what you say, when you say,"I hear of something that may be of interest to the Prowler community regardless of where they are located or where I may reside.", and post other Florida, Georgia, NC, SC,Etc., National Events, Etc. or are you just pullin our legs? :-D

The Turkey Run, is always great, someone should post just how the Prowler's and Viper's got accepted at this event. It has been some time since the story has been told and it shows what persaverance can accomplish.
The Dream Cruise in Daytona Beach is the First Annual, announced by the City of Daytona, Oct. 24 - 26.

Anyone else driving up from the south flordia area? If so when? Is there an offical agenda of prowler realted activites and events for the weekend. Thinking of coming up for like a day but trying to figure the best time and balence with family.
