I don't remember who won it last year? All I remember is the hearse club showing up. Now that's something you don't see at every car show! :eek2:

The construction Gods have not been in our favor and the Heritage section of town (the old part around the park) is completely torn up. So.....the car show has been moved to the parking lot of the Cambridge Lakes Recreation Center located at 1125 Wester Blvd in Pingree Grove. Of course when you try to Mapquest the address it says it doesn't exist...but it does say there's a 900 blk of Wester in Hampshire.....Here's the confusing part...that's us. Mapquest is confused probably because we share a zip code with Hampshire.
DO NOT take Reinking Road North from Rt. 20. This is where the construction is and it's pretty much impossible to get thru. The best way to get to the Rec Center is to get to Rt. 72. Come in the main entrance to Cambridge Lakes (the subdivision) which is Richard J. Brown Blvd (it's about 1/2 mile East of Rt. 47). Richard J. Brown ends at Wester and the Rec Center is right in front of you.
I'll have my Cell (847-601-5966) if you need help that day or if you have questions before.
I hope to see EVERYBODY there on October 5th (11-4)!!!
Thanks
Carol

It looks to me that the best way for you Elk Grove/Buffalo Grove folks to come is either:
A: Take Rt. 72 all the way out to Pingree Grove, go past Reinking Rd., and turn left (south) on Richard J. Brown Rd. The park is at the end of the road.
B: Get on I90 west and get off at Rt. 47. Go south on Rt. 47 and turn left (east) on Rt. 72. Go a short distance and turn right (south) on Richard J. Brown Rd. The park is at the end of the road.
The entrance to Cambridge Lakes subdivision is Richard J. Brown Blvd.
See you at 11,
BB

Have a good time today guys.
We will be thinking of you today. Today we are participating in fundraiser for a local "non-profit" business. This business hires those with special needs, physical and mental. They then find work for these people. When Tom and I were married, we had a shin-dig in our yard. I hired these people to do the cateering. They did a great job. We had lots of great food, a champange fountain, and the servers were extremely polite and worked very hard.
Some of our friends that have small factories here in town, hire these people out to do small piece work.
They also have a floral department too.
