Well Ken Romain is a friend and has had some surgery just the other day and is recovering from the dreaded Prostrate cancer....

Ken emailed this yesterday:

Hi, It is Sunday night and we are finally back at the hotel. I was released at 4 p.m. after quite an experience. The initial ssurgery went well and they feel they got all of the cancer. Unfortunately, complications with the drain and low blood cell level kept me in the hospital several more days than anticipated. I walk slowly, but I am now on a positive healing mode. I cannot tell you how good it was to hear about the prayers and good wishes from everyone. It is truely heart warming and I thank you very much. Roz and I will be heading home on Tuesday afternoon. We will hang out at the hotel on Monday to be sure everything is going the way it should. Looking forward to hanging with everyone and seeing all of you at the Cruis'in for a cure. Ken a survivor
