Man what a trip , the only thing that was bad was the closest hotel we could get took 1 1/2 to 2 hrs so the drive back after both races sucked . Friday night was not bad back at hotel at midnight but Sat night we did not get back and to sleep til 3 am and after a 5 hr nap headed back to Kansas . Ran that Magnum Hemi like it was shot in the a$$. was back in 10 hrs flat , still got 21 to 23 miles to the gallon .

I like the short track race , first one ever , but they need to start around 7 instead of 8 . I still like Talladega better . Our seat were so high up we talked to GOD . Wallace Tower Section K row 8 between turn 1 and 2 . Man it was high , tey set off the fire works and they did not even reaach our height , also we were higher than the TV crew , but it was awesome and LOUD even with ear plugs

The first time I went to Bristol, we parked on the bank and watched the race from the front seat of a '66 Mustang Convertible. Nothing like today!
