Here is your chance to see a 5.0 Supercharged Dean Built Silver Prowler of Jordan's Run. Even though the cars only has 400 miles on it and passed the Trail Ridge Road test he will be running it THIS Wed the 20th at test and tune night at Bandimere.. Come down and meet Jordan form Louisana as he does a 1/8 mile blast... You don't have to race your car, just come and watch... Jordan will be there at open which is 4:00 and I will show up about 4:30-5:00... Story and Pictures to follow.... onecatnodog...

guys I rode in that prowler last night .....yoooooowwwwwzzzeeeee that thing fucks off big time ...damn shame a copy cat had to make it .. Now I always try to be fair ...u all know me !!!! so ... this motor is one hot motor and boy do i wish I had one ..... but for 40k i would rather get another Kat . Its a damn shame that they didnt make this car with a super charged motor in the factory but when you come to think of it half of the owners would have killed themselves with this much power ...
Jordan is a really nice guy and loves his Kat ...just a word of warning ..if you see a silver prowler with a rear belly pan with the V venting ... you better have a viper if you wanna race ...

after 2 kids were drag racing down a street by my house and seeing many other deaths related to drag racing and then seeing this honda on fire after it crosssed 2 lanes of traffic and hitting a light pole and burst into flames and a 19 year old kid being burned right in front of your eyes i not impressed with speed.

no offence to Jordan, but have to agree with Krzy...40K+ 30K donor car = 70K...i'll take a GTR, a Viper or heck..a used 911 GT2/3 anytime for real performance and handling...just my 0.02..(i'm sure someone else would rather get a M3...different strokes for different folks)

before u all get ur undies in a twist ..... it was a prototype motor therefore the high cost ...as we have all gotten to understand the crazy costs involved in R&D... but let me tell u that this engine is truly unbelievable... in an amazing car,,,, sure you can get a Beemer or a used tampon (911) but there is nothing like the power and the sound that this car has ...really it is hott

Guys let me straighten this out, I have less than half that in the 5.0 stroker motor I have close to that total in engine mods,, paxton installed $9000 guy screwed it up brought to RSI out of houston another $4000 if you look at video at prowler pro you can see had problems there to so Dean re designed the whole supercharger put headers ,inercooler,different pistons ,torque converter ,thinkin around $7000 or $8000. Talk about bad luck my blower goes out a shop here in denver installs new blower but did not replace oil so my car with the super charger and misc work went BAMB blowed motor so i said what the hell i have all this money in car now blowed engine (STROKE IT BABY) so just getting it straight i know some of you do not like DEAN to each there own but a stroker motor is not 40K thanks ,JORDON

OK - so how much would it cost to get a stock prowler up to a 5.0 like that then? Would be nice to have an idea in case I ever blow my engine, think it might be a route to take. But another concern of mine would be the frame. With that much torque, I'm afraid you'd twist it.

i would say 20 k or so would be a guess totally , that is not a thru the hood conversion they may be higher dont know

i was hoping marty might know what kinda times mike was getting with no nitrous or any body else for that matter from there westech motors .i talked to laddie he has a westech stroker running the same boost as me so even if mike doesent make it laddies car runs well always he was in th 12s with a paxton low boost before he stroked from westech hope all goes well with no breakdowns ,ill keep everybody posted ,JORDON

$40,000 in any motor, and it better be insane fast. But I wouldn't start with a V6,
maybe a blown Hemi for that kind of cash. Something around 1000 HP. JMO.

ill tell you one thing it out ran 4 vetts 2 zo6s and a viper at the track a few weaks ago those are 50,000 to 90,000 cars i love the vipers and the vetts but they are a dime a dozen compared to a prowler so for 20k for a 5.0 10 k supercharger ,intercooler etc i would do it all over again and when i outran those cars you should have seen there faces lol 6 cylinder wow no way they all said it was fun on a side note they had a guy that had a 2008 zo6 ran 8.89 he only had 90k in car and 70 k in motor work so it costs to go fast for sure

prowler drags was rained out, but i will post my best time from a few wks ago was 12.310 1/4 mile at 105.79 with stock 20 rims no nitro running 20ilbs of air i was hoping to make a flat 12.00 pass with less air in tires and taking my air can off super charger to add 1 or 2 ilbs of boost to the 8 ilbs i am running now. oh well have to try it soon btw i believe that is the fastest time ever with out slicks and nitro 7/10s off of krehels world record time with a 100 shot of juice thanks,JORDON
