All events listed on the web site ( www.flkatpack.com (http://www.flkatpack.com/)) are planned and put together by Prowler Owners, for Prowler Owners and their spouse or guest. Whether a Florida Kat Pack member or not ALL Prowler's are welcome to enjoy the events of their choice. Better yet put an event together with a couple owners and let us know, we will post and E-mail for you. Join the good times.
Aug. 23, 2008 - The Villages Prowler Club invites all interested Prowler Owners to attend the Car Show and Dinner in Eustis Aug. 23, 2008. If attendees want a nice cruise around the area be there by 1 PM and let us know who will be early. If no cruise, be there by 4 PM to assure a good parking space in town. Oct. 24 through the 26, 2008 -First annual Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, sponsored by the City of Daytona Beach. Hotel info, dinner info, and cruises will be set up and notification posted here on the web. This info should be available in a couple weeks. Registration for the event is free and can be filled out on line at www.DaytonaBeachDreamCruise.com (http://www.daytonabeachdreamcruise.com/). Cruising on A-1-A and the beach will be on all 3 days, similar to the Woodward Dream Cruise. Their web site identifies tours and activities for the 3 day event for ALL attendees and our posts will address the Prowler plans.
Oct. 25, 2008 - The seventh Prowlin' the DQ in Naples, Fl. Hosted by Mike, Ken, and Wolfy and beginning at noon on the 25th. A barbecue at the Carter Ranch starts it off at noon Sat., with a cruise in the afternoon and a fantastic 50's party in the evening. Nov. 1 & 2, 2008 - Florida Mopar Association's 21st Annual Mopars with Big Daddy Don Garlits, at the museum site in Ocala, Fl. This a judged event with trophies for First, Second, and Third place. Sat. is a show date with entrants voting on the trophies for that day. Sunday is the judged event and they have a class for Prowler's. In 2007, 5 Flroida Kat Packers garnered awards in the 2 day event, including Best in Class. This event is a Rain or Shine event and advance registration is available for $30.00 at www.floridamoparassociation.com (http://www.floridamoparassociation.com/) , as well as a complete brochure explaining the categories and class of Chrysler Products on display. Nov. 27 - 30, 2008. Turkey Run at Daytona Speedway sponsored by a local Hot Rod club. Usually some 6,000 cars on display. At the present time no one has stepped forward to organize cruising, dinners and hotel info. We need some one or 2 owner's to step up and get this planned out. Past years have had 20 to 35 Prowler's there. Come on member's get it planned. Contact the web site, or Wally or jfwiss132@aol.com (jfwiss132@aol.com) if you want to give this event a boost
