Sept Pumpkin run or something like it????

Has anyone given any thought to a September run to Upper Michigan or Northern Wisconsin? I know its a little late do much detailed planning but maybe a Friday thru Sun run? See the leaves change or go Door County Wisconsin, stay in Sturgon Bay, then go to Egg Harbor or Washington Island?
