You know, I've just recently bought my Kat and never gave a thought about how to get it fixed when an eventual repair exceeds my limited mechanical ability . . . Then I read about Halicat and how he was afraid he owned the last of the species in his area and didn't know who to turn to if it needed a major repair. That comment REALLY freaked me out!
Orange, Dreamcast, Sherman, and any other LA-based folks . . .Who do you use to work on your cars?
How about everybody else? Do you always take it to a dealer or have you found local independent shops that do a great job fixing your ride?
You know, it'd be great if we just started a referral page where everyone listed really good repair shops they would personally vouch for. That way, if one of us happened to be travelling in an unfamiliar area and the unthinkable happened, we had a starting point towards finding a kindred repair facility.
What do you think David? Would it be worthwhile to start a referral list here?
