Hi guys, what's going on? I'm new to the Prowler forums and do not own a Prowler yet. I'm looking to get one in about a year. My daily drive is a 2004 Mercury Marauder; so like you Prowler owners I also have a car that most people say "Huh?" when I tell them what I drive. I've always loved the Prowler since it debuted and I am excited about purchasing one! I'm not too picky about colors, so long as it has low miles (less than 20K). But anyway, glad to be here!

Hey Bryan,

Welcome to our friendly little bunch

When you do get your Prowler you won't know how you ever survived without one... They are that cool.....
I was just explaining to a non Prowler owner today how it becomes a ever increasing passion....
They said I was sick... but, I'm ok with that ...

I enjoy my car more and more every day.....

Feel free to post anything you want, jokes , questions......
and if your good, and ask nice, David may grant you a key to the mens lounge where there are nekid chicks and naughty shit....

Sounds about right to me, lol. I seriously love all kinds of cars, but the Prowler and the Viper have been two cars I have always wanted. I hope within a few years to own both of them, now that I'm a big boy with a real job. Until then I will have to enjoy my daily driver, which ain't a bad thing. It's got a set of 4.10s in the rear and some other mods. Pretty quick for a lard ass. But I think about Prowler and Vipers all the time man, and I amd seriosuly looking forward to buying a Prowler!

sounds like you got the right stuff...

I've always dreamed of owning a Prowler, but never thought I would...being a member of the working poor and all....
I just worked hard , kept my nose clean and when the opportunity presented itself........I made it happen...( good credit helped )

its all about how bad you want things...
If you ask youself " Am I willing to do what it takes to get what I want ?"

and you answer it by saying "Hell ya ! ".......

it will be yours....

The prowler has to be the marauder's exact opposite.... Doesn't it only come in black and just a real quiet sleeper?

Dreamcast,

I'm located in Savannah, GA. Not too many prowlers around here... I probably site 2 or 3 a year and I'm sure they're all the same ones, lol.

Orange,

Well the Marauder MOSTLY came in black. Mine is black. I guess 8 out of every 10 are black. They also came in silver, red, and blue, with blue meing the most rare. And yeah, I guess they are quiet sleepers!

Bryan: Aik! you're further south... I'll be headed to Atlanta area to meetup with BlackCat during memorial weekend. Am picking up my new ride in NC and driving in back to LaLa Land.

Wow! That's a drive, but I have always wanted to do that... Maybe I'll buy my Prowler on the West Coast.

Wlecome Bryan, You'll love having a Prowler, its a blast to drive, but the amount of attention it gets can be unnerving . The biggest problem I've had so far, is having people stick right next to me either in my blind spot or slightly ahead of me. Then, while they're checking out the car they start crowding into my lane. I have to watch for this everytime I've been out in the car, and that's not an exaggeration. It is common to see cars back in the pack weaving through traffic to catch up. I've had a lot of nice cars, but none that were noticed this much.

You're pretty close to Florida, and it seemed to me when I was looking for mine, a large percentage of nice cars were down there. I'm sure you'll find something at least once state over. I know where there's a Mulholland version for sale in Alabama at a bargain price, but I'm afraid I can't remember how many miles are on it. Email me if interested and I'll get you the contact information.

And, Dreamcast . . . You've been pretty secretive about this new ride of yours. Any hints as to what it is? Aren't you picking it up next month?

Scott: Its not a SUV for sure. We've decided to wait it out to check out all the new ones from Mazda (e.g., CX7/9, RAV4 3rd Row, 2007MDX/RDX)

Jim: Smart cars rocks..small but build to survive...its a shame its only avail in Canada (saw alot of them in Toronto). If i'm moving to a city in Asia or Europe, I would get the Smart Roadster. The Cayman and Boxster were top of the list but they will have to wait after the SUV.

Folks will see the replacement car during our May trip from East->West.

Jim: I saw the Honda Fits arriving in trailers over here in LaLa Land. Those will be the 'smart' cars in US I guess. I think Honda's gonna sell a tonne of them..they look better than that Toyota Scion stuff selling out there. I've seen the Fits pimped out big time in Asia and Europe...pretty ricey at times..hahah
