WEIRD!!

True story,

We just recently purchased an apartment complex in Phoenix, AZ. We kept the current manager. My first day there, I took him to lunch. The conversation turns to cars, and he tells me he drives a prowler. Surprised me cause most people don't know what it is. So it's cool to work with someone who has a prowler too.....

Now it gets weirder....

A day or two later the broker on the deal wants to go to lunch to celebrate the closing. So we start talking cars, etc and he asks what I drive. I told him I drive a Prowler in L.A. and I just as I get ready to explain what a "Prowler" is, he says, "Oh really? my girlfriend drives one."

So, we have 3 people on this deal that are prowler owners... Me, my manager and the broker's girlfriend.... pretty surprising since 90% of the population does'nt know what the hell a prowler is or looks like.

I know the town of Bennington, VT hasn't seen too many of them.

Last year...three other Prowlers including mine met up in that small town. We came back from lunch and it was like we were instant celebrities. :roll: There had to be about a half a dozen people around our cats.

I even got a chance to meet one of the original Prowler design engineers. How cool is that!!! I even have one of his old business cards to prove it.

To think...a guy that intelligent...and he was asking me if I new of anyone that was hiring.

Yes, that's very coincidental..weirder thing is there's getting to be more Prowlers around where we live..Sherman is 1 block from us, there's a yellow in Old Town Pasadena, another one downtown (excluding Orange's) and pretty soon, add another to downtown next month too!

And, DC, I just got my silver a couple of weeks ago and I'm usually within three miles of you and Sherman. So there's another one in that small radius you spoke of. Still I have to say, even though we know were there's a minimum of six cars within a twenty mile radius, I've only run into another Prowler once.

In fact, Sherman and I would like for the three of us to get together soon and talk cars. I've got his phone number, so I'll call him and see if we can set something up.

I'm down to installing the last couple of mods from the whirwind buying spree I went on before I even got the car. I'll take pictures of it today and post them on Monday when I get back to work.
