If there is enough interest with the Prowler Owner's we will see if we can get a motel and dinner set up.

We have a number of Kat Packers and others that have shown an interest in this event. We will start the event off with a Friday night dinner and a trip over to Pub 44 for the Elvis Tribute. A cruise back to the hotel will follow. Saturday will be a whirlwind of activity including 2 tours, a lot of cruising around, dinner and a new movie screening in an outdoor setting like a drive-in. Sunday there will be a breakfast for those wishing to fill up before going home!

Lodging information will be available on or about the 15th of August, so you can make your reservations. We checked out a number of Hotels today and found one that we really like on the beach with a continental breakfast and good parking.
Come one come all and I'm sure you will not be disappointed. This may become the #1 event in Daytona for years to come.

You missed it because the ballots and responses were only given out to owners who came to a DQ event over the last 6 years as well as going to many of the other Florida events.
We also asked for suggestions to make next years events better from the Car owners perspective.
Thats why we are having a dinner Friday nite, a cruise Saturday, and a Dinner with a Live Dance Band Sat Nite!
Heck we may even have a Sunday Breakfast.

Jay Started The Florida Club many years ago with one goal in Mind....Fun Fun Fun,
and no Political Bull Shit, No Presidents ( self appointed, or elected) no dues, Just Camaraderie between the owners.
He did a stupendous job, and we have trying to continue his vision!
I commend anyone who holds an event and spends the time effort and dollars that it takes to have one!
So with that...I will blow my own horn...

We would love to have you and the White Princess here in Daytona. We are setting up a nice 2-3 day event alongside the events of the Dream Cruise. A bunch of cruising and a couple of really swell dinners are planned. Manufacturing tours, cruising the Ave, an Elvis look alike show and an outdoor movie never seen before are all included at no charge.

I had talked about an interesting development in one of my last posts on the subject. Well, we tried real hard to get it together, but time got us in the end. Too close to the event to arrange an event at Daytona International Speedway that included 3 laps around the track and a picture of your Kat at the start finish line. We will certainly do it next year though as we'll have plenty of time to work on it and book the date during the 2009 Dream Cruise.

To all that will be here, hold on to your hats, we'll have a great time and we're looking forward to your arrival at "The World's Most Famous Beach"!

In the next week or so we will be finalizing the Prowler plans for the event. We will email all and post it here and on our web site. As of last week, there are over 1000 cars registered for the Dream Cruise. The outdoor movie on Saturday night will be a blast as all the cruising we are going to do. All we need is the weather to cooperate. That time of the year is usually really pleasant and with little or no rain. Let's hope history is on our side.

Too bad both events had to be on the same weekend. With 20+ Kats on the west coast and 20+ on the east, could have been a big event either way.

Well Kats, are you ready? Daytona is ready and you will have a great time!
