I Spoke To Phil From California He Does Mods With Ken Romaine, We Talked About The Ticking In The Engine At Start Up, He Said To Put A Bottle Of Stp Oil Treatment In And The Ticking Will Go Away. The Ticking Is Now Gone, I Know Phil Doesn't Come Here So If Someone Can Say Thanks From Me I'd Appreciate It But You'd Have To Go On Pos And Pm Him.

There is a TSB for that. I had the TSB done a few years ago and the ticking has never come back. Sorry I don't have that reference anymore.

I would try and look into that TSB, in addition to trying a heavier weight synthetic oil.

I think Rick had the TSB done and it didn't help?

If I remember correctly, I think the TSB changes the valve guides?

$630.00 It Cost 1 Year Later It Came Back The Dealer And Chrysler Wouldn't Do Anything, Now $1.83 Later It Is Gone For Now, I Hear A Purolater Oil Filter Also Works, When You Get Screwed By Someone Do What I Do Get Even, I Call Them To Be A Sponsor For A Breast Cancer Program, My Cost Is Next To Nothing, See My Post In Off Topic.

Didn't work for me?

It wasn't an immediate fix... probably took a couple of changes.... I change my oil every 3000 miles...

I use the Napa gold filter (#1085 I think), it has a anti siphon valve in it. It took care of mine.
