Brenda finally found a Roadster she likes. We bought it this morning: 1997 BMW Z3

Yes Marty, I realize this is not a Mopar! The same dealer where I buy my mopars also has the BMW dealership. He is framing the "test drive" slip because he says no one will believe I was actually in a BMW!

Nice.. I had a 99 dark blue with tan top / interior. Often wish I still had. That was a fun car to drive

This is a 6 cylinder, standard transmission, it does move right along......at least it seems to, from the passenger seat, I am not allowed to drive it (just pay for it)

The Z-3's sure are small.
I backed into one a while back.:eek2: The car is so small I didn't even see it in the side mirrors on my 83 Chevy Pickup.

Congrats - good looking car ! :tu:
Since you're not allowed to drive it - are you allowed to clean it ?

DC: it's a 2.8 liter. Kitty, yes I am allowed to move it to clean it, but not out of the driveway. It's at the BMW detail shop right now, we won't pick it up until next week.

I have learned after 36 years of marriage that little compromises make things work. I don't really care whether I drive it or not. Besides, I know she will throw me the keys when it needs gas!

...been there:rll::rll::rll:Debbie drives past 3 gas stations on the way home from work, then tells me her car needs gas before she goes to work the next day(passing the 3 same stations again)
...congrats on the new ride.....smart guys keep their women driving what THEY want to drive...plus if you get them what they want, they tend to keep it far longer, trading less, costing less

That has been my plan, but I have been meeting serious resistance on acquiring another Plymouth.
