Hi David,
I just made a small donation to support the work you're doing here. It is so important that we have more than one outlet and I know a self-supported website can drive you to the poorhouse pretty quick. Great Job!
It took a me while to find the site. Luckily, Jim "Halicat" responded to an email I sent him and led me here.
I live and work in Glendale, California (I'd guess about two offramps away from Dreamcast and Skankat) and hate to admit that I bought a Prowler that I haven't been able to pick up yet! Sadder still is that I've stockpiled quite a few goodies in advance that I'm dying to install. From what I've learned reading the discussion boards, I've already ordered Jimmy Dale's spinners for the wheels, a Speed Lingerie bra, SS brake hoses, ceramic brake pads, front & rear mudflaps, new floor mats, three pairs of Infinity Kappa speakers, the monstercable ipod interface that replaces the CD changer, clear side marker lenses, and HID headlight transformers & bulbs. In fact, I have all of this stuff sitting in my garage except the spinners and brake hoses! And, just to prove I'm completely insane, I've ordered personalized DANG CAT plates in advance, too!
My Prowler-to-be is a 2001 Silver with about 7,000 miles. It has Carlini Design's front side fairing & signal assemblies, their full rear belly pan, and a Borla exhaust system.
The car belongs to a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer who kept it in inventory for his personal use. It has all of the recall work perfomed and received the best of care. It's going to be delevired by DAS next Friday or the following Monday, and just can't wait to start driving it. I'll post pictures once it all comes together. I look forward to meeting SoCal enthusiasts as we caravan to various events.
I also know I'll be relying a lot on the members of this forum to keep me heading in the right direction. Thank you all in advance.
Thanks again David, for making it possible to share all of our information and, yeah, putting up with our present and future BS.
Scott
