I don't how many of you guys are into Nascar but i thought i'd post this to test the water......

you don't have to be an expert.... go to www.nascar.com read a bit of the news and pick a few drivers....

its alllllll good !

Controversy is the buzz word for last weeks race.....the veteran Tony and the rookie Kyle Busch both behaved badly, especially Tony.... he should know better, now he has keep his eyes open for both Kennseth and Kyle. JJ and his team can't seem get away from the grey area involving cheating...they say that the only thing worse than cheating is getting caught....Dummy up 48....

California has a bit of everything.... 2 mile track, only 14 degree banking, track temperature could be an issue... if its hot today watch for tires to be a factor....there is a big bump near turn 2.....when they wreck, thats where most will do it.

my top five today..

Kurt Busch..... driving the #2 Dodge rocket and sits on the pole
Ryan Newman....great driver and a good car, he's due..
Gregg Biffel...won last years race and the Busch race yesterday
Jeff Burton...has a new ride and wants to prove he can drive if given the right equipment.
Dale jr.....he has a great attitude this year and could be up front of he stays away from the nutbars.

Darkhorse pick is Fast Carl.... watch him pass on the outside.

I'm not picking Tony untill he starts showing some class..

Race is on at 3:30pm eastern.....

Loading up the truck with Granny, Jethro, and cousin Elly May cause "California is the place to be"

Drop the green and stomp on the gas !

lets go racing !

Carl is a great tallent.....
The way he gets out on the outside and passes... awesome..

yesterday, he was qualifying for the bush race, got twisty on the first lap, yelling "loose, loose" !!! on the radio... then put superfast second lap in....

besides that he's a great kid as well... :tu:

Thanks Hali. I wish there would have been a little more excitement. Like a race to the finish. Jimmy J looks strong this year. We'll see!

Jimmy is strong every year... i was hoping for him at the beginning of last season but lost me after a couple of his "controversial" moves.

McMurray, Edwards, and Mears will be guys to watch....and I think Kurt Busch will make some waves as well....

just wait until the first short track race.....That will stir things up.....

Busch race is in Mexico next weekend.....Those guys are fun to watch...
