We were awakened by strong winds around 5:15 a.m. as a tornado was passing thru our immediate area. The aftermath in a lot of the area is very similar to the FL hurricanes we are so familiar with.
Thought you'd like a few pics but it was hard to get many as many roads are closed and large areas without power. We were lucky as power was restored within an hour and no damages to our home.
It was reported a F2 tornado with 111-135 mph winds. I believe it!

No relative's of mine! Its too nice! Think that one is owned by some towel heads, backwoods, rednecks from Mississippi...
:rll:
I thought you moved from Florida to get away from inclement, severe weather??? You'll need to move to N.Hamp. with TooHip Brian to do that..........................
You were lucky!

It is devastating. It sickens your heart, especially when you are personally involved. Loss of property or life - tornadoes, whatever the strength, have no mercy. The winds came thru our area around 1:30 a.m. only a few limbs down. Thank God for that. Happy you are both safe. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Despite what A/C thinks...weather in NH can be tough at times.

Glad you guys are okay. We finally turned the TV off at 3 am once the warnings seemed to diminish.

I rarely watch much TV so I knew NOthing about it until my ceiling fan went off when the power went out around 5:15 a.m.
Glad you guys are okay as well! Just spoke to our daughter in Norfolk and they had tornados in that area tonite but she, her lab (and her home) are okay thankfully. :eek2:

I am so sorry to hear that you had to live through this. I can only emagine what it was like.
We have not had a tornado in our community. But close to it. Once we had "straight line winds" when Tom and my son were on top of a roof. That was pretty scary. And it caused
alot of damage to our town.
Glad to hear that you are ok. Nothing like this to remind you of what is really important in life.
Take care,
Freeze
