looks great, probably around 3500.00? ihave some 3m clear paint protection film,that ive used on a couple of chromed frt ends here in az.dont know how much you drive yours,but after a while you will get small rock chips and what i call road rash from that fine gravel and dirt on the raods you cant see.its 6 clear strips you can apply your self and what it does is protect the leading edges of the a arms and push rods.80.00 precut you cannot get this stuff w/o buying a large roll.if interested pm me.thanks catfish.the stuff takes the abuse ,instead of the chrome.:-D

THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD COMMENTS. I WILL TRY TO ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS. THE COSTS OF DOING BLACK CHROME IS ABOUT ONE TIME AND A HALF THE PRICE OF NORMAL CHROME.IF YOU DO IT IN PLAIN SHOW CHROME IT WILL COST YOU AROUND $3000.00 SO IN BLACK CHROME $4500.OO FOR ALL THE FRONT END. I GOT IT DONE WHERE I WORK PART TIME AT M.M POLISHING AND PLATIN IN MONTREAL.THE COMPAGNY IS IN BUSINESS SINCE 14 YEARS. BLACK CHROME AND CHROMING PLASTIC IS OUR NEW PRODUCT FOR THIS YEAR.BLACK CHROME IS THE SAME PROCEDURE AS DOING PLAIN CHROME BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS AT THE END WHERE WE DIP THE PIECE WE HAVE THE CHOICE EITHER IN PLAIN CHROME OR BLACK CHROME. THE FINISH IS AS STRONG AS PLAIN SHOW CHROME.AS SOON THAT I WILL FINISH ALL MY MODIFICATIONS I WILL POST MORE PICTURES. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS POST THEM. ABOUT THE 3M FILM I WILL THINK ABOUT IT. FORGOT TO SAY . CHROMING PLASTIC IS VERY EXPENSIVE LIKE $2.40 A SQARE INCH. THE REASONS WHY IS BECAUSE WE HAVE TO METALLISE THE PLASTIC WHIT REAL SILVER PAINT AND THAT PAINT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO BUY.

Nicely done , I know my chrome frt end I would do it all over again , it really make the Kat look sharp. Black chrome looks awesome :tu::tu::tu:

Congrats on the black chrome! I tlooks nice but I would have to see it in person to know if it was for my black kat. I love regular chrome with black cars. Very nice, and different, good job!:tu:

The black chrome looks awesome. Not sure how it would look on our Purple. A chromed front suspension is something I have wanted for a very long time. I think I will stick with regular chrome to match the wheels etc.
