Also, we are coming in to the worst season to buy a Prowler (price wise) as all of our Northern friends without one are coming out of hibernation and are looking to buy and drive a drop top Roadster.. It is fast becoming a Seller's Market. Thats why the prices have gone up the last couple of weeks for used Prowlers.
JMO, though.
Its true..just look @ recent ebay prices...this high mileage Orange is going for past $30K already:

Not talking about stupid high prices some clueless folks are trying to cash in on...talking about prices that 'move' the cars.

I hope the prices remain high as they should but like you're saying some are being a little ridiculous on thinking they can get around the original sticker and higher but I do wish them well in their endeavors.

Prowler prices in Canada are $45-55,000.....
Prices have gone down as a result of the dropping US $ and the rising CDN $

...in 1980, some Chrysler Muscle was already bringing double MSRP on cars that were about 10 years old...the Prowler will eventually bring MSRP and more for low mile original examples, but it will take still more time due to the lack of performance.....my prediction is another 7-10 years to see a marked increase in value for the Kats.....many will be used up, needing restored etc etc.....fewer prime examples will command higher prices for the remaining cherrys
...pix, 69 Dodge Daytona, original MSRP $4300.....purchase price 1980, $9K....10K original mile car, 440-4spd...double MSRP
...pix, 69 Judge....just paid 20 times original MSRP for a 40 year old performance car...RAM AIR 4-spd
...if previous Muscle Car pricing held true, the Prowler should already be selling for $75-80K, and in another 30 years could be in the $750K range.... it lacks performance and lower production numbers would have helped it too...there are no NASCAR versions, no drag cars, no street racing legends, it is destined to be a novelty car, not bringing the really big $$$....

Obviously they are not holding true to form as I don't recall hearing about or seeing any advertised or selling for that range at least not in the USA. If that were true, I think we would be seeing a lot more for sale so let me know when that happens so I can get the Yeller Cat listed asap. In 30 years I could give a rat's azz what they are selling for...

Me too. That would make me 88 and I don't expect to be around that long.

Take it to Maaco..have them repaint it with their Ambassador Pacakge for $399 to Purple.
Then sell to Trick-Turning Rick for $40,399.00 ....but he'll get $122K (in 3 separate Western Union Money Orders) back from your long lost nigeria uncle who was a general before the civil war 6 months after the purchase.
