With ford building the GT500 for another year and the amount of vehicles not meeting reserve on ebay, do you think the dealers will ever let them go for under sticker.

I got my prowler well under sticker, just wonder if the same will happen to the GT500's.

not till next winter.....Sticker is a GOOD deal...trust me....look up the used prices on KBB....get it now and enjoy it NOW...... most people(99%) paid from 5k to 25k over so you are way ahead of the Game....

there is a beauty here in NS... 2008 convert SVT with all options Black with red stripe..... they think they can get 72G but offered a window sticker for 57 US funds.....its an american car.

Neither one had many options.

A black with the red package, approx 300 over sticker. $51,750 Sold
A blue with white stripes, bidding started at $48,000 sticker price, no takers, not sold.

I didn't really want/need to go All the Way with the HP...

trulyl just wanted the deeper throat and increased air...

I went with Brenspeed.com for the JLT CAI and Xcal3 tuner, for 799
and then I went with LMPerformance out of Fla for the SLPs for 319,
both are the "shipped" costs.

Rick - I traded in an F150 ext cab that got 12-14 on good days...

this 'stang has already regularly recorded 22-25 MPG, even with my heavy foot !!
it's nothing short of amazing how efficient the engines of today are... it gets better mileage than the prowler, and the 300c, and now with the CAI and tune/exhaust upgrades, it is even more efficient. On a hiway trip from Madison to home a couple of weeks ago, reset the info button, put it on cruise at 72mph, and got 27.4 over a 55 mile run. not bad at all for 580 rwhp.

Life is good :)

We own 10 acres over in the East Texas Piney Woods, north of Woodville, which is on Hwy190, north of Beaumont about 80 miles or so.... Have had the land for over 30 years... ready to get back 'home'
Not far from the land, about 7-8 miles as the crow flies, is a small cemetary with about 90-100 headstones...dating back to the late 17-early1800s... Of these more than 1/2 of them are 'kin'.... This is "Home"... "roots" ... whatever you want to call it...5 generations of 'my folks' from my mother's side.
Our ten is beautiful OLD growth pine/hardwood mix, so full it's tough to walk through some of it. The road's built, the electricity is there, the waterwell is dug...
the rest comes after we get there in early 2011. :) :) :)

when you do the coldair and tune it helps the mpg if you don't get on it all the time...the car runs cleaner and gets better Mpg....

As of this morning...with some healthy "gettin' on it" under its skin mind you...

total mileage 1859.7 miles... total fuel used 98.6 gallons...
(this is an ongoing 'printout' in the menu selections)...

you do the math but ballpark looks like 19mpg fulltime. Not shabby at ALL :)
Better than in the prowler, the 300c and certainly the trucks....

Sticker is GOOD....many dealers have them in stock and want them off the floor plan..some still have 07 but not many... and yes 09's will be out in few months...
