wow. if that is correct youre getting into a price range that really expands the competetion for a mustang. plenty of other choices.... jmo

That's what I was thinking as well Ed ;-)

After all ........ it's "only" a Mustang ............ you add $ 28K you're looking at $ 74K for a MUSTANG ........ so unless you park it in Larry Bell's Nursing Home/hall of fame and wait 40 years for it being a POSSIBLE collector car ........ I say this is a waste of $$ ...... JMO

I love it but the "glory days" were when it was $3K.

i know i am dating myself here, but i am still having difficulty getting used to a 46k price tag for a mustang. my first new construction home cost less than that. i do like the mustang and a friend of mine has a 1 of 1 Saleen that is truly amazing. but at that price point, i see other options out there that diminish the appeal of the mustang to the point of making less desireable than its competition. i would still rather have a nice used viper over a new mustang. I think the $28k was the top of the line upgrade. 750hp and voids the factory warranty...:eek2:

One step in between was 650HP (?) , and still have a warranty.

I won't be getting the SS package. :rll::rll:
