I got lucky on mine, while i was at the private ford fleet show last year i meet few people that hooked me up and my car is going to drop shipped to a dealer close to my house for me to pick up. Mine is right at 40K...IF had to go thru a dealer who knows what they would want...I was told "Job 1" IS around june soooo i hope to see it in late july......most dealer are getting one and most none...i was told 3000 total build...

My Employer is in the Ford Partner Recognition plan.... we are supposed to get deep discounts with this program....i suppose they wouldn't give any deals on the Shelby....

YEP..I know all about it since i handle that program nationwide for my company as part of my job.. under 'X' Plan you are getting the unit for 4% over real dealer cost....BUT... Ther dealers don't have to take the x plan price of they don't want to......lately they all take it as the car bus. is kinda slow....However i don't think any dealer that is getting a SHELBY will sell at x plan....
As for selling the prowler !!!!!!!!! IF they only way to get a mustang was to sell the prowler...I WOULD...WHY??? you can always get another one...prowlers keep poping up all over with low miles everyday....
NOW if you really want one i can call my counter part at ford and ask if they have anymore corp. spots open on the list for me. Ford owns 30% of the company i work for so you never know,Also i will be in Detriot for 3 weeks handling cars for super bowl and will have lots of face to face with the powers to be....

Thanks David and a HUGE congrats on your 'purchase to be' - that is sooooo coool, I've been craving this Cobra EVER since I saw the first pics but realized soon that the "average guy" won't get a hold of it due to high demand as you have stated above, so I "settled" with a GT :(
