My wife and I married in a little Baptist Church 45 years ago today. In the little town of Sweet Springs, Missouri. Snow and ice. (62 degrees here today). Drove 125 miles that evening and found a motel in Springfield, Mo. for the night. Still remember that night. Wow, a lot of water over the dam since that day.

I let my wife pick the day she wanted to get married. I thought that I was fortunate enough just getting her to marry me. Didn't need to worry about losing the tax deduction by waiting till the end of the year. Didn't have enough money to worry about it. I hope you and your lady have as good of life as we have had.
