WHIDBEY ISLAND - An Oak Harbor woman is under investigation for vehicular assault after a head-on collision Tuesday on Highway 20.
The woman was driving northbound near Monkey Hill Road in a 1992 Ford Escort when she drifted to the right, then overcorrected into the southbound lane. She struck a Chrysler Prowler carrying a 43-year-old man from Coupeville.
Neither the woman nor the man was injured. However, the woman's 19-year-old passenger was ejected. The passenger, an Oak Harbor man, was transported with injuries to Whidbey General Hospital.
