The hot ramen broth will not only make you feel good but also put you to sleep after finishing it :statiictongue:
TooHip might need some too for his cold/flu ;-)
p.s. one of the best LA ramen places brew their broth overnight and once sold, they close shop since they can't make any more broth for the day.
Wish I had some of that right now...
Nancy: Legend has it that Marco Polo stole the ramen from asia and sold it as pasta back home :nono:

I am part polish along with German, French and Ukrainian, but Mom was raised cooking mostly polish. I love her Pierogies. My wife started making them shortly after we got married, and now hers are even better tahn Mom's.
Sorry Mom!
She makes them with the Potatoe and Farmer's Cheese and onion filling. We serve them boiled, then pan Sautee'd in Butter and onion with heaps of sour cream!
Mmmmmmm!
Other favorites include BBQ'd Steak, Ribs, Spaghetti, Chilli, and Turkey on the Weber Grill!
That turkey is the only way we cook it now. We even cook it that way for Christmas Eve Dinner. My family loves it!

My Mom is half Polish and half Lithuanian. I wish she did make hre own Pierogies. She does make a type of Polish candy...I guess that's what they're classified as...Fafanuhee. Correct spelling...I don't think so.
Here's a nice plate of Pierogies with a side of Kapusta. MMMMMM...good!:tu:

Damn that looks good. My wife makes a saurkraut with bacon mushrooms and butter and onions that takes about 6 hours baking in the oven. It is really kewl for me considering she is almost 90% Irish. We will be starting our Sausage stuffing and pysanky for easter pretty soon.
