Alright so check this out:

Carsinbarns.com (http://www.carsinbarns.com/index.html) - This one shows American muscle cars rotting away in barns. Pretty self-explanatory title.

And this thread here (http://www.supercarforums.co.uk/chatforum/viewtopic.php?t=30&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) shows exotics and classics (rarely American) rotting away. Lambos, Ferraris, Jags, Bugattis.....oh man WHY GOD WHY!?!? (One of the avatars is NSFW, so be careful).

The worst part is that many of the owners refuse to sell them to people who want to save these cars. :mad:

not far from here is a LOT ........ owned (and operated) by 2 old geezers , they have 'gems' on the lot (yard) that would make you CRY ! :eek2:

From late rare 58's and '59's to who-knows-what else ............ ALL ROTTING away in the yard .

I stopped by there back in '97 and asked if they'd sell 1 or 2 ......... I was 'greeted' (or lack thereof) with a shotgun and a dog.

10 years later the lot is STILL virtually untouched, packed with all kindsa AWESOME vehicle of the Americana !

SOMEONE told me that they estimate about $ 5 Mill. worth of cars rotting away there ! :frown:

We infiltrate the place. Halicat uses his new dog in heat to distract the dogs, justakid and pepe go in from the west and while justakid shows his extensive collection of p0rn to the guys, pepe slips in some of the green stuff. While they're passed out, rick has his way with both of them at least 6 times and snoman paints their house silver and installs candy red shingles, then sets it on fire (gotta have flames).

The rest of us load the cars and replace them with cardboard cutouts. Then we vanish into the night like corvettes at car shows when a Prowler arrives.
