we could have them reprinted in poster size and sell them for $900 each you know where... :wink:

I had a program a while back.. its gone off the compy now, you could convert immages to embossed and watercolor or oil paint... i used to have a lot of fun with those.

Jim, I used the free photo software from Google to play with these. It is called Picasa. It has the special effects like fine art and several other options. Fun to play with. Go to Google.com. Click on more. Scroll down to Picasa. Click on it to see about the free download. Bill

I'd love to upgrade the computer...

i've found the best results come from a balanced photo to start with...all the ones i've posted were from my own original pictues except for the last one....
let me try to modify some hot rods and see what happens....

That's a good size. The original is 7200x2400. I made it so that I can have a 12x36 image to frame =P

I think leaks are something that are a quite unavoidable, especially considering the crowd. Even if you plan in secrecy, you'lll eventually have to come out and offer it to everyone.

If leaks are such a big deal, then the best option would be to just come out with the project on your own (or with the people that you trust), share the idea with an administrator (David in this case), and then take it from there.

Unless, of course, I don't fully grasp what could be yet another level of animosity with the other site over stolen projects.

Depending on the poster size that you want, you'd need a higher resolution. The one that you posted is ok (at best) for perhaps an 8x10.

I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt make any large versions, though. I think this was made as a wallpaper, which usually isnt good for large format posters.

After I read Snoman's comment on the Black Tie Steal thread, I started thinking of possible color combinations in the same pattern as woodward and black tie (top panels one a different color).

My favorite out of those is the Smoke Tie, although blue and white tie isnt shabby either! I realize that these would possibly look very different in person....but it could be a nice melting pot of color combination ideas. Do you have any more?
