So...since every one is recovering from Christmas, and Sno is still trying to keep food down, lets see how well you know this countryside.
Tangled's intrepid reporting assistant has been working on a fresh made surprise to the winner.
Anyone know where in the US this pic was taken????

Hints humm.....lets see,
Geographically speaking, it looks like it's in the middle of a corn field, not on Route 66, not even close to 66. But to evenly balance things out, guess I should point out that it is in the midddle of nowhere.
Lets see if I can find something else. Back shortly.

Norm, no battle. Cathi was at home, I was there with the rest of the group.
:rll::rll: Uhmmm, don't let Cathi know I said that.

As you can see, it's a long road to get there. Really trying to balance the answers so I don't give the answer away.

These folks were a few hours down the road. They said something about keeping things on the level.

...where Toto is buried ???
...whats left of the house that fell on the wicked witch
...where Kansas wrote their song, "Dust in the wind"
...kinda reminds me of a monument where 3 or 4 states meet, or you can see 3 or 4 states from the monument...something like that

OK, so we know it is in Kansas. There is a church there also right next to the monument. I guess so you can pray you find your way out of there.

Tangled, the view from there is nothing but corn fields.
So..lets see. Try to balance out your thoughts. Keep things in your mind level, to the point.

Geographical Center of the 48 States.
I know this only because Rapid City is near the Geographical Center of the Continental United States.
This was all part of my research for the perfect central place for a Prowler event. We settled on Deadwood and the Black Hills.
