On Sunday Teresa and i were off for Xmas dinner with some friends here in the UK. We decided to take the Prowler, despite the weather threatening rain and it being very windy and downright cold. The journey there was erm.. well wet! I found out the roof leaks the hard way! But the real fun happened on the way back. By now we can add darkeness to the scene, and for the last part of the journey we used a motorway. Now in the dreadful conditions the last thing i was thinking about was any attention i might be drawing, jesus i could hardly see in front of me anyhow. But a sudden flash as a car overtook made me sit up, yes there was the passenger, neck craning out of his open window in the pouring rain taking photos of the Prowler!! A few more snaps as he slowed down to get the angles right and there was a thumbs up a wave and a toot of the horn before he tore off into the night. I don't know if any of you guys get such attention on trips out, but i certainly didnt expect anything like that in the those conditions!

Its now below freezing here this week so i think the Prowler will stay in the garage!

Ron, keep a Chap Stick (lip balm) in your Glove Box for the next time you get caught in the rain. Apply it to the bottom of the weatherstrips on the Top where they meet the Side Windows and that will stop 90% of the leaks you get at the Side Windows.
