Our main roads are pretty good (because of the salt) side streets, driveways and sidewalks are terrible. 1/4 inch of ice already. Probably won't even take the truck out either.

Was out yesterday to look at some land about 75 miles away. Started to get serious icing on the way back. Wound up with a 1/2 inch or more of ice covering the entire truck. Took about 1/2 at the car wash to get it off before I brought it home and put it in the garage.

People around here freak out if they hear about snow or ice on the radio/TV/ They raid the grocery stores and then lock themselves in for a week even if there's only a few flurries. Pretty hilarious !

We don't get that here, but always with the first storm people have forgotten how to drive on snow and ice and there will be numerious wrecks.

Ice and rain is in our forcast thru tuesday. The monday morning drive to work should be interesting.

From the weather report, 8 PM is the time to take it out, just cloudy. :rll:. Was very tough to take yesterday when we hit 83, took the Kat out on some back roads, ended up driving through the Florida National Cemetary south of Bushnell. What a beatiful setting, rolling hills, forrest, wild life and so serene. Many flags flying over the grave markers as well as flowers. Some 83,000 Veterans and their spouse's rest there. Today will only get to 82, may have to put some wood on the fire. LOL
