yes, we are expecting our first baby (and it's a girl!!!) and the expected due date is Nov 18 2007!

as i mentioned to David, Miss Kitty and other friends, we don't normally have a Baby Shower in our Culture but instead we have a Baby Announcement Party when the baby turns One Month old.

we've received some wonderful gifts from our prowler friends and we just want to THANK all of you for your generosity and friendship!

ANYONE would be nervous so that's very normal. Just remember the medical professionals attending to you have been thru this routine literally hundreds of times and they've most likely seen and delt with every possible situation. :tu:

Having said all that, I'm convinced that if men were the ones who had to bear children, the human race would have been extinct long ago... :mrgreen:

Jenn....it's a piece of cake trust me.....I had a 9 lbs 2 oz one & hardly any meds. (well a little). You'll be fine but try not to worry too much. :smile:

Nervous is when my/our twins were born 11 weeks premature. The doctor came in and told us that he had to take them immediately (emergency c-section) cuz he thought they were being deprived of oxygen.

My son was the heavyweight at 2lbs. 15 oz. and my daughter was the lightweight at 2 lbs. 6 oz. Thank God...they will be 11 this December!!!:eek2:

Prayers worked for them and I will say more than a few for your newborn.:biggrin:

am really glad that my mom and brother's arriving this Saturday! having family around really helps!!! besides ... having my mom around kinda reminds me that if my mom and thousands and millions of women have been through this ... it really can't be dat bad right?!? :biggrin:
