It's funny you should say that! When I was single I posted a people-meeting-people personal ad (as: Destiny Bender) saying that I was a recent escapee from a mental institution and the evil elf (then: Dragon Lady) answered it! There's a lot more to it...but essentially, the rest is history! Married at midnight on Halloween in a haunted cemetary in northern California...we're still hitched...coming up 12 years together -- this-coming Halloween! Izzat Scary, or what?? :shock: :shock: :bows

It was a mutual thought...we're both from Cally (me: Mt Shasta; elf: San Diego) and it's 3rd marriage for both of us! Both been married in the church & Justice o' the peace, this just emerged outta wanting something unique & beyond normalcy! We got it! Don't ask me how many THOUSANDS...yes, thousands, not hundreds, of dollars in Halloween motif we own & periodically display on Halloweens...when she is home. Just batteries for all of it costs a small fortune...and it requires it's own room! Unimagineable amount of stuff...some single items costing over $300. :shock:
