Oct 28th LAPD Cops 4 Tot'sCar Show

Hi All,
I know this is short notice but there seems to be interest for a few of us to go to LAPD Cop for Tots Car Show on Oct 28th. If we can get 10 Kats they will make a class for us. As soon as I see what kind of response I get I will put out more info on where we will meet etc.. If you live in the area or know it please suggest where we might meet before the show.
I will try to stay on top of this one and update you as much as possible. It sounds like a big show, so please try to put it in your schedule. The website is www.lapdcops4tots.com, so far we have about 3 cars that have confirmed that they will come. Vince, Harry and myself. Pre-Registration deadline is Oct 20 so you must act fast to get a T-Shirt etc. Please go to the Website and check out the details. Please let me know ASAP if you can attend. SkanKat and I won't be attending this event after being dragged into the latest flame war.

We did actually try hard to find a location for SoCal Prowlers to meet up prior to cruising into the event location; even taking the effort this afternoon to drive to these two locations to scout them out.

Location 1: [1300-1399] Elysian Park Dr Los Angeles, CA 90026

This has EXCELLENT parking, very near to the event location, BUT I bet alot of other car clubs will meet there prior to the event. So not very advisable.

Location 2: Griffith Park 4730 Crystal Springs Drive Los Angeles, CA 90027

This might be the best choice. Still pretty close to location, but I don't think any other car clubs thought about meeting here prior to the event.

Please don't let this latest round of bashing tear you from the SoCal family, You are two of the best supporters of Prowler events and are always making things happen not only locally but nationally as well. I wish I would have not gotten involved in this and stayed neutral as I normally do, so all will feel welcome at SoCal event's. I have E-Mailed all SoCal members for their input and I'm determined to make everyone feel at home and enjoy SoCal events. So I ask you to please tell me your questions and problems so I can make it right as best as I can. We may not always agree with one another, but I think we still can meet as a family and have a great time. I guess I was living in a dream world and thought all was going well and everyone was having a great time. So far I haven't received any problems from anyone in the group, and I will do my best to do what it takes to make you and everyone in the SoCal family at home. So again I ask you to reconsider and join us again even though we may be a little dis functioned right now till I get things back on track.No matter what happens here, I only wish you guys the best and with Jenn being pregnant, I know you don't need this kind of Drama. Enjoy this time as things are happening so fast in your own family, because what ever is said will not be remembered long as you will remember the times between the two of you. I just what you guys to know you are welcome at any SoCal Prowler Event, And I will tell anyone that doesn't agree that they are the ones wrong. I apologize for getting involved in this mess but please lets just get through this and be a family again..

JimBell: A friend of mine who runs daily @ Griffith Park mentioned there's another BIG parking lot inside the park at the LA Zoo (5333 Zoo Dr , Los Angeles, CA 90027-3922)

I drove there on the way back from work to take some pics. He highly recommends 'Area H' (seen in the pic).
