It is going to be a wild night in Charlotte. Wish I was there. Did a congressman actually say recently that you need to get innoculated after attending a Nascar race. I am about 30 shots too late. Maybe that's why I feel a little funny.

165,000 fans will cheer the Nascar drivers tonight at Lowes motor Speedway in Charlotte North Carolina.....The track is a 1.5 mile quad Oval that has 24 degree turns so this should provide for some awesome night racing....

The bottom line is that tonight is going to make or break some of these guys in the chase... if the top guys go out and the bottom guys do well the chase will tighten up.... There are many of the chase guys that will be going for broke tonight and Jimmie and Jeffy trying to play it safe and just finish in the top 10 to distance themselves from the rest.

It should be a exciting race....I just hope I can stay awake until 1am to see the end...

The Talledega race was pretty exciting for a COT restrictor plate race...I was surprised to see them racing so hard at the beginning... Harvick moved up 25 places in the first 10 laps....

In the end Tony tried to block when he should have stayed up high and went for the speed....

truthfully I think he would have been passed anyways... but it was exciting....


Kahne has won the last 2 Charlotte Cup races here...maybe he will be a player tonight..

Did you hear the pre-race show ? there was a very short part saying how many of the races have had empty seats on tracks that were allways full up...

this Hendricks Cup bullshit is a sad direction for the sport... COT, phantom yellows, 7 laps under yellow after a red flag so Jeffy would have enough fuel to win...

no wonder the fan base is depleting away,,,,,same old crap favoring GM's advertising dollars :mad: who ever thought that 43 identical bodied cars would run races in nascar? just isn't right!! they can only blame themselves for ruining the sport! In my mind,,,,I want to see the last 15-20 laps under green,,,,regardless of the lap count or distance ran > fastest car wins,,,,not who they favor to win!

He even screwed the restart by spinning his tires. Clint drove into the back of him instead of going around. Newman had it in the bag, don't know if he lost it or he blew a tire.
