Jim: wished I've gotten a BlackTie..would have got ur trailer and painted the lid..our Orange has a matching trailer and it rocks.

Sad truth is that we'll probably end up with the new-new MDX or RAV4 (with 3rd row seating)...

I believe u'll get ur asking price! minimally!

I hope so. Need the space. Right now a lot of tire kickers. Some want me to deliver. Actually had a guy in South Dakota tell me "for that price you should deliver it", I offered to meet him halfway. Never heard from him again.

Patience Jim, u'll get the asking price. They don't make them anymore so u just need to wait for a real buyer. When we got the orange prowler..it took me more than 3 months to find one with a trailer. Have u tried Autotrader?

You in Iowa now? Anyway on the trailer whats weird is I've had PMs about it but NO bids. Whats up with that? A Black Tie with some damage sold the other day on the POA site for $7000.00. Go figure.

Hey Jim:

Yep, in Iowa City right now. I don't think you can ever get a good deal on POA. Folks there are too 'cheap' and usually out for a bargain. Don't blame them, I do that too. You will get better chances on Ebay or Autotrader. I have great feedback on Ebay if you need help listing it.

Enjoy your time in eye-oh-wa. As you probably noticed I haven't posted any pictures because this old fart doesn't know how. Another reason is that I can't find my Hawkeye Brownie camera.

Seriously, one of my daughters lives in Kansas City and promised me she would come down and post some pictures for me. I am still waiting.

I think that not having a picture of the trailer hurts the sale somewhat but I have been as honest as I can on describing its condition. Maybe too honest.

One thing for certain, the trailer will just get rarer every day. I'm not going to give it away and feel $5000.00 is fair market value at this time.

LR: ha-ha! funny

also, congrats on the sale of the kat! U definitely should hold out. We've gotten offers of 6K for the orange trailer..its tempting..we don't use it at all!

You should keep your trailer as long as you have your kat. They really look good together. Since my kat is gone I have no use for the trailer and would like the garage space.

Trailer is gone. A guy from Louisiana bought it. We met in Arkansas today to finish the deal.

Another benefit on the trip was that gas was around $2.21 a gal. in southern Missouri and Arkansas.
