Colo. Prowlers Royal Gorge Sun. Sept. 9th

Prowlers lets cross that bridge when we get to it.. Royal Gorge Cruise...Sunday, Sept.9th Line up at the Red Robin Restaurant at I-25 and County Line Road in the Shopping Center... Get off I-25 at the County Line Road exit, go straight through the intersection and head towards the shopping center and you can see Red Robin.. That's were the line up will be starting at . Sunday Sept. 9th at 7:30 - 8:00 am.. Please come and play! The season is coming to a end, and we have a special friend in town. The Royal Gorge opens at 10:00 am and closes at 5:00 and there special event will be Bungee jumping off the bridge, something that Grant was just talking about.. Royal Gorge fee is $23.00 Adult.. Time for the story... The Prowlers joined up at Red Robin at 7:30 and even though Russell was sick he showed up to see us off... Poor guy, hope your feeling better buddy... You should see the inside as the glass that you see going up the peaks are stained glass and when the sun shines it TO COOL.. The further we headed South West the better the weather.. Following behind Capt. Compass aka LawnDog aka Grant sure makes the trip easy as we always end up getting to were we want to go... The weather was getting so nice that Grant pulled over at our 115 turn off to let his top down.. My wife Susan was kind of SPLIT between the Prowler and the Helicopter. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/image_uploads/100_6833.jpg But for me it was hands down crossing in my Prowler(only had enough money for one of us to take the helicopter, that be Susan). She is nice enough to go on most of these CRAZY RUNS that I plan so it was kind of a reward... Helicopter ride $115.00 Crossing the bridge in my Prowler... We all made a BEE LINE to are cars! I would like to take this time to thank all of my Prowler friends that set out on this cloudy day, only to become sunny and full of fun... I am going to stop here with the story and pictures even though the day was only half over.. We went to Cripple Creak from the Gorge for lunch and that is a gaming town up in the mountains close to the Gorge and took the mountain roads to get back home...
