One of our extended Prowler family needs your prayers. TIRESUM/KandyKat1, Jim Caroon went in the hospital 8 days ago for a simple hernia re-cap. It has turned into anything but routine and complications have set in. Please add him to your prayer list and don't forget his wife, family, Dr's., and nurses. Jim has been very active with The Florida Kat Pack in building and maintaing the member files turned over to him by Jay Harris and is an important part in Prowlin The Villages. Thank you. Jim Warner

Jim went in for another surgery last night as they located a serious blockage in the lower stomach. He is in ICU and will be another 24 hours. Have not heard of his condition.
He WILL be in our thoughts ! :-?

Wow. I just read a post on another site by fellow Prowler Owner Dale Beaman that he was going in for out-patient surgery yesterday to have some growths on his lungs removed for Biopsies. Lets keep Dale in our prayers too. A nicer guy you wont ever meet...

Dale is one of the best guys I've ever communicated with since I got my Prowler....he has helped me out many times ...
I hope he gets over this.....
I will admit I don't pray often, but I will tonight for him...

I must appologize, I was trying to post an update yesterday before I took Jim's wife up to the VA to see Jim, but she called before I could get it posted here.
Spent yesterday with Joy and Jim's daughter in ICU and the waiting room for all of yesterday. He was in very critical condition and his body rejected the mesh used to cap the hernia. The infection spread very quickly and emergency surgery corrected the hernia and the searched for the antibiotic to stop the bacteria spread. They have him on the correct solutions now and his vitals are showing a return towards normal. Is on a ventilator and heavily sedated but showed response to my voice and the two gals. The care givers indicate he has reached the hump and is starting a long recovery process and will remain in ICU another week without any major set backs. Not out of the woods but encouraging.
His wife and daughter thank you all for your concerns and prayers as I do also. He is a very good friend.

I have had some requests for an address to send Jim Caroon a card. If you are interested in sending a card please PM me or e-mail me at jfwiss132@aol.com and I will be more than happy to get it to you. They do seem to be of great help and support to his wife as Jim is still so heavily sedated he can not speak or read at this time. They will attempt to remove the ventalator again today. It caused him considerable discomfort yesterday and sent his vitals way up the chart. Will have a full staff plus his Dr. there today to get him through this procedure. Thanks again for all your notes of concern and prayers, have printed them down for Joy and Jim's daughter.

A long awaited update. Jim returned home today and will rehab, heal and have dressings changed for 2 to 3 weeks then will have another surgery technique. When he gets some strength he will climb on line again and thank you all himself. Still has a way to go but what a relief to just hear him on the phone. Your prayers and concerns are most welcome and we thank you. Jim & Denise Warner
