Many thanks to Jay for walking me thru the steps of getting this 'custom' SSS muffler installed. It was his persistence that made me 'forced' the muffler folks to follow his instructions of NO WELDING to get it done :bows:bows:bows
Needed alot couple of extra steps to use the stock clampers, but Orange Grove Mufflers came through, especially with a 'stuck' clamp.
Here's the LAST SSS Muffler...brand new in orignal plastic wrapper!

Got it off! After 1.5 hours!!!! 3-person effort, but I stuck to Jay's advice!

Wow - Jay really is the man. After seeing those pictures I can't believe that Jay helped me install the muffler all by myself (well with his help and guidance), with just driving it up on ramps and using ratchets and I think a hammer.
To really enjoy some of the unique sound, try driving where the sound will echo a bit, walled streets or underpass, and then down shift and punch it. That or as you are slowing down, go with the downshift and listen to the low rumble kick in.

This "last SSS" was custom built by Jay for a customer whom had previously modified his stock pipes and need a weld-on version of the highly acclaimed SSS.
The "original" SSS was an out of the box, slip on installation... much easier without ANY modification, even the muffler guy who did the installation for the Black Prowler was saying he remembered the non-modified version was so much less work to deal with.
Jay's da man!

Thanks Buddy! I'm usually NOT a difficult customer. The mechanics were the last to leave the whole shop 'mall' that evening and since I don't know much spanish, I'm really not sure what they were saying as I drove away!
