Well, after 16 days, 5,962 miles, 3 newspapers reporters asking questions and taking pics, 13 states, 1 broken trans cooler, a possible 33 chevy acquisition, to many small town attractions to mention, finally arrived home this afternoon.

What a great trip we had. Woodward was awesome, along with the museum party.

Ed Monahan had suggested US 36 for our trip back. If anyone ever gets the chance, this road beats the heck out of 70. Lots of small towns, great people, cool sites to see. Nothing but corn, sunflower, wheat, soy bean and who knows what along the roads. Beats the heck out of highway and trucks on 70.

Now, have to get to work to get the money to pay for the 33 Chevy setting in a Kansas soy bean field with my name on it.

And maybe get DC to post a few pics from along the way.

Welcome back Jim!

Glad u made it back OK!

No doubt another road trip will be in the future cuz there's never a drive that really ends permanently; even when you hit the End of Earth, there's always the option to U-turn and drive back :tu:

It was great meeting you-all at lunch here in Denver. Thanks for sharing your laptop photos with me while you all told some great stories of the things that you guys did. It truly was just amazing. I could have listened for hours but was late as it was getting back to work.... Thanks, John(onecatnodog)Collins http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/image_uploads/100_5866.jpg
