Prowlin' the Seas 2005, NAVY STYLE

Saturday 6 August 2005 was a Florida Kat Pack Prowlin' Adventure of a
LIFETIME as 7 of our Members joined my Daughter Jill and myself aboard the
Nuclear Aircraft Carrier Harry S. Truman for a day at sea. We boarded the
ship @ 4:30 AM for a full day of FUN, FUN, FUN including a spectacular NAVY
AIR POWER SHOW featuring NAVY helicopters... an E-3 Hawkeye... F-14 Tom
Cats... F-18 Hornets.Here is one of the day's thrills as the F-14 Tom Cat makes a FULL THROTTLE
touch and go landing on the carrier...

We were allowed to stand on the carrier's flight deck for the air power
show... up close and personal as this F-14 modified our hearing forever!!!
The view was awesome... the Discovery Channel never was this good and the
sound, WOW, WOW, WOW... I never heard "Surround Sound" like this...
something like a ZILLION WATTS at least!!!

The day was FANTASTIC as the Florida Kat Pack was Prowlin' the Seas 2005,
NAVY STYLE!!!

A BIG THANK YOU to Petty Officer 1st Class Jill Harris for inviting us to
join her for the Harry S. Truman Friends and Family Day!!!

Also, THANKS to the FLORIDA KAT PACK Members who made the long trip to
Norfolk, VA and participated... it's all about FUN, FUN, FUN... nothing
else, sometime without your Kats.

Membership has its privileges!!!
