Norm,

As far as I know except for color , all prowlers had no options available, other than the trailer of course..
accessories were available like car cover etc, but no options..

I can't speak for all 2002's but I think they came with chrome wheels that didn't peel - LOL :rll: .... damn I hope I didn't just jinx myself.

I know that beginning in '99 the chrome wheels were "listed" as options, but you didn't have a choice -- they just started shipping with them. Likewise, the color was shown as an "option" since they figured Purple was "standard", but again ... you likely didn't get a choice, had to take what the dealer had. :tu:

HI GUYS

I THINK THAT COLOR, TRAILER AND CHROME WHELLS WERE THE ONLY OPTIONS LIKE YOU GUYS ARE SAYING. MINE IS A 2002 AND SO FAR THE WHELLS ARE OKAY.:bows THIS IS ONE OF THE REASON WHY I AM STILL LOOKING FOR A 2002 FACTORY BROCHURE SO I COULD SEE WHAT WHERE THE OPTIONA AVAILABLE IF SO .
THANKS:beer:

Only four true options:

1. leave it in the garage,, aging comfortable for the next owner

2. drive it,,,,get some smiles from the miles you drive it. afterall, you bought it!

3. drive it cautious,,,,slow, and being afraid of every little thing happening on the road

4. drive it at the rev limiter,,,,,where LIFE BEGINS :biggrinflip:

Only option was color (except for 1997 when purple was only color offered).... trailers, covers, splash guards, etc. were MOPAR accessories; not options. I know that early models had silver wheels and then came chrome, but don't know that was ever offered as an option... wheel finish was, best I remember, painted before a certain date and chrome plated after that same date. Regarding 2002 dealer brochures, I never saw any after the 2001 models (I had three 2001 brochures).... best I know, Chrysler never published a 2002 showroom brochure for the Prowler, and I have never seen one advertised among automotive literature dealers.:statiictongue:

(I had three 2001 brochures).... framed one for keeps and the other two got traded off/sold with my other Prowler stuff when I sold my Prowler. Sorry! :icon_frown: Actually there were at least two brochures for 2001, but I had only the 3-fold version that I picked up at a dealership years ago. I framed one because the cover print is really sharp alongside the old prototype Prowler poster that I had matted and framed to match. I have since given one of my sons both framings.
However, showroom brochures and other factory literature are available from THEPROWLERSTORE.com http://theprowlerstore.com/The_Prowler_Store_Order_page_9.htm :tu:

Have a copy of the 2000 brochure and found some others stored away with it. This one
(2002?) published 07/01. Not sure when or where we got it. Maybe it is a collectors item:

No options, except for exterior color: Silver Metallic, Inca Gold Pearl Coat, Orange Pearl Coat,
Yellow, Deep Candy Red and only one color for the top: Black

Several accessories: trailer, fold-down rack, front end covers for prowler and trailer, vehicle
cover, front and rear splash guards, bike rack, and custom-fit floor mats.

Also have a 3-fold Chrysler Brochure (2001?), published 01/01 that shows exterior colors available
as Silver Metallic, Orange Pearl Coat, Midnight Blue Pearl Coat with Pinstriping and available top
colors as Black Cloth or Dark Blue Cloth.

Yeah, if it shows colors as Candy and Inca ... then its' 2002

I'd like to have something like that. Maybe I need to start cruising Ebay.

That very possibly is even more of a collector's item above all the other showroom brochures. It is the first 2002 Prowler showroom brochure I've seen. Having Inca and Candy listed is definitely a 2002 vintage. That one would be a keeper!

We just found a few more brochures around the house:
1997 Accessories (slight damage),
1998 (01/98) Brochure fold-out (pictures of Yellow and Purple),
2001 Double sided sheet for the Trailer includes all colors, and
which also shows that available was a trailer kit, primed and
trailer wheels from MOPAR.

Will put them all together for safe keeping.

Norm: U're seeing a rising problem with Prowler parts and collectibles....these stuff are all getting rarer.

With the collectibles, I think most folks only have 1 copy for their own collection and emotionally tough to sell.

On a side note, a rare collectible chance to own with a good cause:
