That Prowler was owned by Phil and Jane Horvath, formerly in Nor-Cal. They sold that cat,,,kept another,,and moved to Florida.

I'm the proud owner of Phil and Janes 99 Purple Prowler. I was thinking of taking off the two numbers (99)that are on the door. Any recomendations on how or if I should try to remove them.

Are they vinyl (sticker) or paint?
The best way to take it off if it's vinyl would be to use a hair dryer to gently soften the glue, then simply use your hands to remove the sticker and excess glue. Avoid using rubbing alcohol at all costs (it'll remove waxes and damage your paint). Any small glue left on the car can be taken off (gently) with a microfiber towel and some household cleaner.

If it vinyl, u can also try 3M Woodgrain and Stripe Remover. See attachment for usage instructions.

AC...I do hope the proprietor of the POA store made sure that graphics company was licensed by DC.

They are vinyl. Since the two numbers are small I think I will use the hair dryer mode.
I think they detract from the overall look.
