Looks brutal! Just 7 grand for the engine? Am I reading that right? Can't seem to find a manual tranny on the price sheets....that sucks. The sheet is from 2005, though....

Do any of you a ballpark estimate of what an installation (labor) would go for?

Last I saw he finished it, took some video, loaded it on a CD then sold the car. Only asked $45,000. What a deal. Should be easily recognizable as the only Prowler running around with the left front tire 6 inchs off the ground. LOL

What a tease! But not with an auto tranny.

I hope they upgraded the stock 5.7 Hemi from 340 HP. The Westech 4.3 stroker base on the stock Prowler engine was putting out over 100 RWHP more than a stock engine and a lot less trouble with a lot less weight and better handling. Either Westech's or ProwlerPro's 5 liter V6's would certainly be way more HP.

Of course being able to say you had a Hemi Prowler and the potential to add aftermaket cams/heads etc may be very appealling.

I know of 2 V8 prowlers and I've spoken to both owners. Somehow, I don't think they end up getting the HP out of it that they had hoped for. Seems like twin turbos or supercharger gets where you want to go with less head-ache and fewer dollars.

Oh and of note: I think both owners also looked to sell their prowlers after their conversions were done. :?:
