I know my good friend Curtis Blockhus aka "blockbuster" and "cmblockhus" attends this event every year. He tells me he always has a Great time and sees a lot of Really Great cars and Friends there. Wish I could attend too (pepe)!

I'll then just take my roadster to the cruise again. It won best of class a couple of years ago.

We can definitely meet before the event. I was really referring to where do we go / meet once we get inside? I didn't attend last year. Did we have a designated spot to display our cars?

Ken (ocprowler) has been organizing this for the last few years. I am sure he will chime in on this when he gets a chance.

Me and Ellen will be there. Ken has reserved the same parking place we had last year. It was in between two buildings near the main stage. Last year we met at a Starbucks in Costa Mesa and went in as a group. Either Ken or Jim Bell will be sending out the details a few weeks prior to the event.

Here's a suggestion for the event(we can move this to General Discussion if someone thinks its better there?):

ProwlTalk Prowler 10th Anniversary Poster Raffle Fund Raiser

- Sell raffle tickets here and on event day
- All raffle sales proceeds donated to Prostate Cancer Research at the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center

What we will need:

- Donation of a poster for raffling
- Donation of a 20x30 frame for framing the poster

Just an idea..up to David and eveyone else on their thoughts...

Can anyone recommend a hotel close to the event? After getting screwed for a parking fee last year, we won't stay at the Doubltree any more (which is the event hotel).

And....is anyone else staying down there the night before? hint DC and SkanKat..hint hint.......

Will and Ann are looking forward to this event. We have been anticipating this one and hope to find an organized group coming out from our area and/or near. This will be our first time attending an event and would like to join on the fun of driving out there with a group. Again, we are located in the Santa Clarita ( near Six Flags Magic Mountain ) I will be watching the site closely as the date nears in hopes to catch a group heading out to the event. Would love to join. :burnout

We might have to do a ferry crossing on the Prowlers to Balboa island! Great photo op! I think we can squeeze 3 prowlers per ferry??

Will: I highly recommend NOT taking the 5 all the way to O.C. Take the 5->210->57. Much better route with less traffic and car pool 80% of way. Plus you can caravan in with us!

For folks in LA/Greater-LA area, who wants to caravan down to the meeting point?

We are planning to have a caravan departing from Pasadena, taking the 210E to the 57S/605S (depending on real-time traffic). No intention of taking the 5 parking lot. We will be glad to meet up with anyone who's along the route we're taking.

Were expecting about 30 Prowlers to attend this year, including alot of new friends.
We will be meeting at Starbucks again, The time to announced soon.
I spent this morning with about 100 other folks stuffing goodie bags for the show.
I have been promised we will have our GREAT PARKING area again this year.

Remember this year as in the past, we will be honoring our Prowler Family Members and their familys that have been lost to cancer this last year. I hope you will all make a small donation, which we will collect and turn in at the show. Please see me there.
