Rarely used 1997 Prowler trailer for sale. Build date October '97.
Spent last 6 1/2 years in storage. Sorry, no chrome wheels. This unit comes with the hub cap style wheels which look like the painted wheels from 10 feet. We've got two trailers & they don't make a hitch to tow both of them at once. I took the bra off of ours when I brought this home, but I keep the bra. New units are still available.
Finding a trailer in the color you want is a protracted affair. If this isn't the color you're looking for, it's only paint.
The built 11,600 Prowlers & only 1350 trailers.

$5,200 FIRM.

Congratulations on your first post. Trailers are indeed very valuable. I think you are in the ballpark.

Good luck. Please post and let us know when you sell.

Are you sure on the number of trailers? Seems a little low. I have a Silver trailer and won't sell it without the car. I'm looking for a yellow kat with a matching trailer.

I am told that there was just a shade over 11,600 Kats. The number on the trailers was estimated at just over 1,400, but has recently been re-evaluated at 1350. This latest number is said to include the "second run" of trailers (200 units) in 2002. About one trailer for every 10.2 cars.........

I'm a firm believer that there is a better equity in the trailer than the car that was designed to pull it. Everyone figures the cars have bottomed out in value and will only go up. What do you think a trailer will sell for in (say) four years?

Obviously I don't have a crystal ball but if the trailer would even double in the next four years I would be shocked. At some dollar amount it becomes feasible to build them again. Then what would they be worth?

I don't know. Why not ask the 90% of those (Prowler) owners who don't have one?

I understand your point but not everyone wants a trailer. Many use a week-ender or have designed, made or purchased some other type of trailer. Like I said before, good luck selling your trailer.

Ya got me..... but they didn't even want the trailer if I gave it to them. Good for me and very, very, very dumb on their part. I tried to sell as a pair and it just didn't work out.

For some reason dealers see no value in the trailer. I even had two other people look at my kat, and were very interested but only WITHOUT the trailer. I passed hoping to sell the pair. No dice. Go figure. I tried....honest.

Didn't want to wait until spring to sell the kat. Trailer will move anytime.

Yup, It still sits in the garage waiting for a new owner. Hasn't left the garage since we brought it home 1 year ago.
