I am having a real difficult time trying to get the swirls out of the black paint on my bike. Any suggestions on how to get them out? Not deep, but just on the surface. Driving me crazy....Thoughts? Suggestions?

the best product i've ever seen is Zaino... I used the ZFX accelerator that you mix with the polish on my black Kat.. it didn't take them all out but made a huge difference.....

What kind of applicator do you use? I was using a microfiber towel. Wonder if that makes a difference.

i just used the applicator that came with the kit... basicly its a terry cloth towel covering a pc of sponge...

Maybe I need to consider the Zaino. I have used ProtectAll for a long time and on my black Harley truck it works great. The bike is a 2005 and maybe the paint is still alittle "soft". However the bike is six months old and that shouldn't be the problem.

Used it on my black Kat and it took all the swirls out after about 4-5 waxes. It is culumative. Keeps getting better. I used the Z5 but now they have another product that may be better for the swirls. Just got it but haven't tried it out yet. Nothing better in my book. Just use a cotten applicator that comes with it if you order so much stuff or get one. Then get the Z6 spray enhancer too or the new Z8 and you'll really be impressed!

Wally, I'll give it a shot. It's not like I have a lot of surface area on the bike. lol

I use Zaino on our cars, but the best thing I have seen for swirls is from Meguire's...called Scratch-X...works great!

O.K., there's Zaino, Meguires Scratch X, Z5, Z6, Z8, FX Accelerator, and ProtectAll, so far. Guess we all have our own way of solving this problem. Now I'm really confused but I do appreciate all of the input. I'll be trying something soon and let you know my results. Thanks.............

Hmmm. Let's see if I have this right. I should wear a glove, a rain coat and a thong? That doesn't make much sense. All she wants to do is detail me, I mean my car! You guys aren't much help

Thanks CW. All she wants to do is wax me, I mean my car! Should I be concerned with the fact that she's going to be using Eagle one?

Wait? Maybe she said she was an EAGER ONE not use eagle one. I guess maybe I should ask her for a clarification. I'm still concerned that it could be harmful. Your thoughts please?

My experience is that no matter how cute a blond (in my case - blond guy) may be, keep 'em away from your car til you are sure they know their way around one.
My advise is - stay away from an eager woman with hot wax. :?

Thanks CW. I never thought of the hot wax angle but maybe that's why the raincoat and the thong stuff came into play  :o Sounds like it could be harmful but she's a cutie. I guess I'll have to think about this but I already ordered the thong! :devil I wouldn't want to waste the money!

ABSOLUTELY! I was just jacking around, and you are right, it is all about fun, and it has been fun. That's what I really like about this site and the Men's area. Still like that number one you posted. I just like to give Debbie a hard time in a fun way. She's a hoot.
