Personal choice will be the 2 FL cities, followed by Vegas then San Diego...

Naples would be my choice of any of those cities but finding homeowner's insurance in FL is still a major problem for much of the state unless you have the luxury to self insure.

Ughhh - I'm LIVING these experiences right now. I bought pre-construction luxury condo on the intracoastal overlooking the ocean 3 years ago. It's finished now and I had to close on it. Now I have a house + the condo. The condo costing more and harder to sell than a house now days .... I'm trying to sell my house. This market sucks... but then again, Florida is passing a property tax reform which will lower my taxes significantly and hopefully let me move one of the properties.

It only took us a "short" 9 months to find a buyer last fall & now I hear that is the norm for selling in south FL & when one came across they wanted a quick move in. Good luck on yours Krzy...did you try the St Joseph burial? Google it if you haven't heard about it.

Nancy, everyone that looks at our house LOVES it ... just they don't put up the money - everyone wants to STEAL things now. Its just a numbers game, show the house on weekends, and when someone MUST move, we'll sell it. 90% looking to just get away with murder, 10% must sell / must buy - and that's the part I'm focusing on.

Been there done that...we had to counter 3 times with the person who ended up buying but knew we would loose them if we tried 1 more time as there were too many others available.
