Going to be here in California two more days before driving back to Las Vegas. I have been amazed at the cars here. Some I have only seen in magazines. Also quite a few kats. Going to hate leaving this area. Should see a bunch more in Vegas. A lot different than the rides we have in the middle of Missouri. lol

DO NOT DRIVE to or from Vegas on a Friday or a Sunday the traffic is crazy,,, Not good enough,,,, Focked Up, I have seen Baker temps in the 120's

Try traveling late in the day, check in time is usually around 3 or 4.

Thank you old great wise one. We have no choice but to leave on Friday. Going to leave about 9:00 AM which might help beat the people who are leaving later in the day.

We were going to leave on Thursday but have a function to attend with the grandkids.

Can hardly wait to get back on I-15. lol

Actually 9:00 A.M. may work out well. I figure 5-6 hours to Vegas, drop off the rental car, then check-in at the Rio by mid-day. Actually hate to go to Vegas on a week-end, just too crowded but had no choice on this trip.

Orange, we are staying with our daughter in Augora Hills. Leaving tomorrow morning. Been very hectic with the grandkids and are seeing them this evening in a production of Swan Lake. This visit was way too short and we just didn't have much free time for anything. A meet with you would have been nice.

9am should be fine. I did 10am once...took me abt 3.5 hrs to get into Vegas. Personally, i recommend heading out earlier if you can! Traffic do get crazy on the 15!

You folks hit this on the head. Actually I-15 IS nuts, but even more so when there are a couple of accidents. Took us 7+ hours.

I-15 has turned into a nightmare...Glad you made it through the mess.

That is one reason we moved to Tx.
